Family caregivers often feel "invisible" because their crucial role in providing care for loved ones is frequently overlooked by healthcare professionals, society at large, and even their own family members.
- American Psychological Association
Almost 70% of family caregivers struggle to balance their work and personal life responsibilities.
Some studies show as high as 40-70 % of family caregivers experience significant mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.
Making the Invisible Visible: Empowering Caregivers Everywhere
One in five family caregivers surveyed has either declined a promotion or taken a leave of absence from work due to their caregiving duties.
More than half of family caregivers are late to work or need take time off due their caregiving responsibilities.
A report found that 23% of caregivers feel their employer neglects their well-being, and only 44% find their benefits adequate. Meanwhile, 63% of employers believe they provide enough support for caregiving employees.

The percentage of working family caregivers is expected to rise due to an aging population, the growing prevalence of chronic illnesses, and increasing rates of children with special needs.

Meet Our Founders
Making the Invisible Visible: Empowering Caregivers Everywhere
We launched the Behavioral Health Mind Body Academy (bhmba) from a place of deep understanding and compassion, drawn from our experiences as caregivers for our parents.
Navigating this challenging journey without access to essential resources was incredibly difficult, and we want to ensure that no family caregiver has to endure the same struggles and heartache that we faced. Caring for loved ones can be overwhelming, often taking a significant mental and emotional toll. Our goal is to make a meaningful difference.

Our Method
We have established a support system specifically for caregivers to address this urgent need. Through our experiences and research, we have learned that family caregivers need a strong support network both at home and at work to thrive in every aspect of their lives. This insight led us to develop a two-pronged approach focused on consulting and education.

Keynote and Consulting
By helping businesses foster a care-led culture, we can create a supportive environment that significantly reduces absenteeism, enhances employee retention, and assists staff in transitioning back to work after caring for loved ones.
This approach not only benefits businesses but also creates a space where caregivers feel safe to share their challenges and seek the help they need.

Education
The second prong is education. We believe caregivers deserve to be equipped with the right tools and knowledge to navigate their important roles effectively.
This includes understanding their rights, learning best practices for managing their loved one’s care, and knowing how to prioritize their own mental health.
